A Scranton couple was arrested after police say they locked children in a dog cage, denied them showers, and fed them out of pails. 52-year-old Roberta Shay and 40-year-old Christopher Finkler are each now charged with child endangerment.

A man was shot just before midnight last night in Wilkes-Barre. Police say 22-year-old Elijah Rivera was shot on Coal and Meade streets after some sort of dispute. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. No word yet of any arrests.

State Police arrested a Wilkes Barre man after they found cocaine in his vehicle during a traffic stop. 22-year-old Carlos Morales-Vargas also had packaging materials, and about $13,500 in cash in his car when he was pulled over in Susquehanna County.
