Gas Prices Continue Upward Trend
Gas prices continue to surge to new record highs. The average price of a gallon of regular nationally reached $4.61 as of Monday, according to AAA. That’s about 52% higher than a year earlier.

A search warrant was executed Monday afternoon in Olyphant, where authorities say they seized tons of fireworks. It all took place at the old Sullum’s Bridal Shop that shut down years ago. Police say the owner of the building claimed ownership of all the fireworks, but they were illgally stored.
