A shooting at Lackawanna State Park leaves a child injured. Not a lot of details so far, as authorities refer to it as an active investigation. At last report, the child was said to be in stable condition. State park rangers along with local and state police are continuing the investigation.

North Carolina Man Arrested For Driving Drunk On Lackawanna County Interstate

In Lackawanna County, a man was arrested by state police for driving erratically on Interstate 81 while intoxicated in Dunmore. 58 year old Ricky Martin McLaughlin of North Carolina according to troopers, tried to resist arrest and had to be subdued. McLaughlin has been charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and other traffic violations.
