Two men have been sentenced in federal court in Scranton in two separate drug investigations. 37 year old Jonathan Fontanez of Wilkes-Barre, will spend 40 months in prison followed by 3-years of supervised release. 33 year old Jean Hernandez of Scranton, was sentenced to 57 months in prison followed by four years of supervised release.

A man involved in a 2019 bank robbery in Scranton who was caught after DNA was recovered is headed to prison. 32 year old Vasiliy Chinikaylo of Swyoersville, was sentenced Tuesday to 11 to 23 months behind bars in the Lackawanna County Prison, followed by 5 years probation. He pleaded guilty in June.
