Child Endangerment In Scranton
A Scranton couple was arrested after police say they locked children in a dog cage, denied them showers, and fed them out of pails. 52-year-old Roberta Shay and 40-year-old Christopher Finkler are each now charged with child endangerment.

A woman was hit by a car in Scranton Tuesday evening. It happened around 5:45pm at the intersection of Linden Street and Wyoming Avenue. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on scene. The woman was reportedly not seriously injured.

A man was shot just before midnight last night in Wilkes-Barre. Police say 22-year-old Elijah Rivera was shot on Coal and Meade streets after some sort of dispute. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. No word yet of any arrests.
