Two people were arrested in Ararat Township, Susquehanna County after state police found a wanted woman hiding under the floor in a kitchen. The homeowner, 49 year old David Pickering, told troopers he did not know where 30 year old Tracee-Jo Shimer was. Shimer was wanted for a probation violation. Officers noticed an unlevel floorboard, so they lifted it and there was Shimer… hiding under the floor. Both Pickering and Shimer were taken to the Susquehanna County Correctional Facility. Shimer is charged with avoiding arrest, and Pickering was charged with hindering apprehension.
