When it comes to going green, Pennsylvania isn’t doing so well. According to the Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association, we create more trash here in the Keystone State per capita than 47 other states, with roughly 9.6 million tons of residential trash put into our landfills every year… approximately 1,480 pounds a year per person in Pennsylvania.
